Edward C. Moroney, III

Edward (Ted) C. Moroney, III graduated from FMS in 1973 as Salutatorian and “A” Company Commander and cum laude from Norwich University with a BA in Government.

He has been Chairman and CEO of Superior Foundation, Inc. located in Vienna, Virginia, from 1984 to present. He was a founding member and Director in 1992 of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Association of Drilled Shaft Contractors, served as the organization’s President from 1992 to 2004 and continues as a director today. After 9/11, served as ADSC Coordinator of the ADSC/Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Task Force I Urban Search and Rescue Group from 2001 to 2004.

He has served on multiple task force/committees in the community of Ocean Pines, MD and has served on the Board of Trustees of the Fishburne-Hudgins Educational Foundation from 1992 to present. He served as President of the Board of Trustees from 2003 to 2014.

He and his wife Sue reside in Derwood, Maryland and have one son, Mike, a 2006 FMS graduate, and one granddaughter, Allison.
